Patrick Monahan blends a high energy comedy style with hilarious and engaging topical and observational material. Known for working a room, Patrick is adored by his audiences with whom he makes an effortless connection.

Winner of the 2011 ITV1 series ‘Show Me The Funny’ which led to the release of his debut DVD ‘Patrick Monahan Live’ (2 Entertain), Patrick has since taken part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, won Best Newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his hit show ‘Hug Me I Feel Good’. The family-favourite funny-man (and occasional disco dancer) toured across the UK with his stand-up show The Disco Years! Inspired by Patrick’s memories and reminiscences of being an immigrant to Great Britain.

Multi-award Comedian, presenter, actor and writer, Stephen Bailey is a proud northern, working class, gay man. The multi-award nominated star’s indecorous brand of gossipy humour has singled him out as one of the UK’s most sought-after comedy talents.

After performing on Live at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central) Stephen was commissioned to record his own 30-minute comedy special which aired on the channel in 2019. He has written and starred in his own mini-series Comedians in Quarantine: House Olympics for Comedy Central and created a true-crime podcast with his lawyer boyfriend called Order in the Bedroom (iTunes). As well as being a prominent talent on the UK comedy circuit, he has supported some of the biggest names in stand-up, including; Katherine Ryan, Jenny Eclair, Jason Manford, John Bishop and Sarah Millican.

Stephen’s quick-wit, playful sarcasm and enigmatic charm captivates instantly. He has already made a name for himself hosting Celebs on the Farm (Channel 5), Celebs on the Ranch (MTV) and Takeshi’s Castle (Comedy Central). He was the resident Agony Uncle on Zoe Ball on Saturday/Sunday (ITV) and a series regular on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (Channel 5). He is also the narrator of ITV Be’s Ferne McCann: First Time Mum and has guest hosted for Sunday Takeover (Virgin Radio), The Jason Manford Show (Absolute Radio), Drivetime with Eamonn Holmes (TalkRadio), The Breakfast Show (Gaydio) and The Sunday Sessions with Laura Whitmore (BBC 5Live).

Beginning his career by selling out his 2012 debut solo at the Adelaide Fringe, followed by a Best Emerging Comedy nomination, it’s safe to safe Thomas Green has gone from strength to strength on the international comedy circuit.

Thomas’ engaging storytelling, electric stage presence and hilarious characterisations makes him a regular at high profile clubs such as: The Comedy Store, The Glee, Hot Water Comedy, Off The Kerb, Just The Tonic, Top Secret Comedy, Komedia, Punch Drunk and The Frog and Bucket.

As well as the Adelaide Fringe Thomas has sold-out Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe. His knack for improvisation has seen him become a highly regarded MC gaining him a Midlands Best MC Award nomination. His effervescent charisma has graced the comedy stages of some of the UK’s favourite music festivals including: Download, Wilderness, Godiva, Y-Not and Tramlines Fest. At the start of 2020, Thomas worked as tour support for Jason Manford.

Multi-award-winning comedian, Nathan Caton is one of the most exciting comedians on the scene. Gigging since the tender age of 19, over the last decade he has established himself both as a circuit headliner, and a name on TV and radio.

Within his first few years on stage, he had picked up various accolades and coveted plaudits including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year Award and Broadcast Hotshot and written and starred in a pilot for Paramount Comedy (now Comedy Central) entitled The Nathan Caton Show.

Since then, Caton has gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences at comedy clubs up and down the UK, and on his numerous TV and radio appearances, with his delightfully charming blend of personal and political comedy.

Our main theatre, located on the Two Sister’s Lawn has allocated, covered seating in the Centre, East and West Tiers. There is additional uncovered seating in the Centre Tier and there are grass areas where you can bring your own seats, beanbags, rugs etc.
Pre-Theatre suppers are available to book with your ticket purchase. The Guthrie Pavilion will be open before the show and during the interval for drinks and snacks.
