JANE EYRE

JANE EYRE

by Charlotte Bronte adapted for the stage by Polly Teale

Produced by Another Way Theatre

Wed 1 June 7.30pm

Two Sister’s Theatre

Edenbridge-based Another Way Theatre present Polly Teale’s striking adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s classic novel JANE EYRE.  Following her journey from orphan to adulthood, this production revels in the passion of one of literature’s most loved heroines. Originally produced by experimental theatre company, Shared Experience, this bold and exciting retelling of Jane’s struggle for freedom against all odds, continues to inspire.

Another Way Theatre produced new play BETWEEN FRIENDS at The Causeway Hall last July, just out of lockdown, and are passionate about bringing quality theatre to their local community so are delighted to have the opportunity to perform at Hever Festival Theatre before heading south to the famous Cornish Minack Theatre.

‘Bold and brave and convincing… a visit will be truly rewarding’
Hamlet, The Cornishman

‘The commitment and emotional depths of the well cast actors, working with a brilliantly written script, was both enthralling and moving.’
The Seagull, Jenni Barlow, Minack Reviewer

‘Chambers production is engaging, amusing and remarkably fluid’
Twelfth Night, The Stage
