TOO DARN HOT
THE GREATEST MUSICAL MOVIES OF ALL TIME
This is the highly anticipated return of Too Darn Hot to The Festival Theatre Hever Castle.
Get ready for an unforgettable evening as the West End’s premier show band Too Darn Hot – featuring leading singers and musicians direct from London’s West End – takes you on a thrilling journey through the greatest movie musicals of all time.
From classic musical films such a Westside Story, Guy & Dolls, My Fair Lady and Cabaret to the more recent blockbuster movies: Chicago, Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman and Wicked. Then relive the musical soundtracks of your life with irresistible hits from Grease, Fame, Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia and to top it all off, a dazzling James Bond Finale with a high-octane shaken not stirred megamix – all performed in the signature Too Darn Hot style.
As Goldfinger once said “I expect you to dance, Mr Bond”!
Too Darn Hot was formed by Musical Director Tansy Aked and brings together a world-class selection of top West End singers and musicians. Between them all, they have performed in over 50 West End shows including: Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Westside Story, Wicked, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Joseph, The Rat Pack, Top Hat, Singing in the Rain, Aspects of Love, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Fame, Chicago and Mamma Mia to name a few.
Too Darn Hot is recognised as the leading West End show band. They have played to sell out audiences across the UK and abroad ranging from the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall in London, to open air concerts in several castles including here at The Festival Theatre at Hever Castle, and from private Palazzo’s in Florence to Stadiums in Berlin.
Too Darn Hot is also extremely popular in the corporate and party circuit performing at exclusive events, ranging from concerts to award ceremonies and film premiers, including James Bond’s Quantum of Solace.
Too Darn Hot is as thrilled as we are to be returning to perform at The Festival Theatre. This promises to be a night you will not want to miss.
