Dining at Hever

PICNICS

We delight in seeing your elegant array of picnics on theatre evenings. The castle site provides a selection of idyllic settings and you are welcome to picnic before evening (from 6.30pm), and after matinée performances (until the castle closes at 6pm). If you are attending an event on the Castle Main Lawn, The Loggia or Anne Boleyn’s Walk you are welcome to picnic during the performance too. All we ask is that you help us to be as sustainable as possible by taking your rubbish home with you.

DINING OPTIONS

PRE-THEATRE SUPPERS Situated in the Italian Gardens next to the walled Rose Garden, the Guthrie Pavilion offers picturesque surroundings to begin your evening at the Theatre. Pre-theatre suppers can be enjoyed inside the elegant dining area, or outside on the paved terrace, both offering views of the lake, before our evening performances.

If you choose to book pre-theatre supper, then you can arrive from 6pm onwards (except for the play matinee days when you can arrive from 6.30pm). There are specific time slots for suppers, we do recommend you arrive no later than one hour before the performance start time to ensure you do not have to rush. We have attached the menu here. Please book your theatre tickets first, then follow this link to reserve your table (you will pay for your meals and drinks on the night).

You will be making your reservation through the app OpenTable, if you then wish to amend your booking in any way please contact maiarose.inghamjerrey@restaurantassociates.co.uk

AFTERNOON TEAS are served in the Guthrie Pavilion following the matinee play performances and must be booked in advance when purchasing your theatre tickets either via our website or by calling the box office on 07379 488 477.
