Join us on a voyage back in time at this one-hour workshop with the funniest, and most historically accurate time travel tales EVER! Hear all about the hijinks and adventures that Sunil and Alex get up to in The Time Machine Next Door as they whizz through time, getting tangled up in rebellions and meeting heroes such as Rosa Parks. Plus, audiences will get to join Iszi Lawrence and travel through ANYWHERE in history! For ages 7+.

Iszi Lawrence is a comedian, podcaster and history presenter. She is the co-host of BBC Radio 4’s Your Place or Mine and hosts a number of podcasts including the British Museum Untold and Terrible Lizards. Iszi is a dark blue belt in Japanese style Jiu Jitsu so she also spends time in the week helping to teach both short people (7-11 year olds) and grown-ups how to punch her in the face. She dabbles in illustration, plays the guitar, likes cooking, dinosaurs and enjoys keeping fit. She lives in Reading with a poet and two cats.

All children are to be accompanied at all times. No dogs are allowed in the Think Tank.

The Think Tank is an intimate indoor venue, close to the main entrance of Hever Castle. Please advise the castle staff that you are attending the workshop before you park, they will advise you on where to park and offer you directions on how to find the Think Tank.


The Think Tank

Situated 100 yds from the main Top Gate castle entrance. Please speak to the castle staff when you arrive, they will advise you on where best to park.

This is an indoor intimate venue. Cushions will be provided for the children to sit at the front if they would like to. There will be chairs at the back for adults too. Everyone attending requires a ticket.
