It’s been some time, but they’re coming back! WestEnders are bringing the West End to The Festival Theatre. This hugely talented company with show stopping vocals are playing with us for just one very special evening.

From the cast of Les Miserables and with over 20 West End productions between them, WestEnders are the original and best internationally acclaimed musical theatre group.

Featuring top West End singers and the highest quality musicians, you will be taken on a musical journey through some of the most memorable songs from your favourite musicals. Superb vocal arrangements and staging, along with the WestEnder’s gentle humour and tales of life on the boards – this show is performed from the heart by those with real experience of London’s West End.

‘The hits come thick and fast. As an ensemble they certainly form a slick operation, with their entrances, exits and onstage movements running like clockwork. The rousing finale of the evening is, of course, from the musical where the WestEnders first met, and it provides a fitting conclusion to the evening’s entertainment.’ Musical Theatre Review

WestEnders has thrilled audiences at over 400 theatres around the UK and further afield. Their Musical Supervisor is renowned West End MD Jae Alexander, famed for his work on many hit London shows: Cats, Follies, Guys and Dolls, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, South Pacific, Sister Act and the smash hit revival of 42nd Street, to name just a few. Jae also has much experience as a classical music conductor for internationally acclaimed orchestras such as Royal Philharmonic, the Philharmonia, the City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, English National Orchestra of which he is Principal Conductor, The Bangkok Symphony, The Istanbul Symphony and the Wren Orchestra.

‘There is something about seeing songs from musical theatre productions performed live that really brings these numbers alive. The WestEnders are talented performers who met while working on Les Miserables in London. They now tour with hugely talented musicians performing some of the best-loved songs from the big shows that have graced the West End.’ Westmoreland Gazette (Theatre by the Lake, Keswick)
